Choosing the right sign

Sunboards
- 3 mm is fine for most indoor signs. 5 mm is stiffer and better for larger boards or longer-term use.
- Choose a matte finish for offices and bright lights (less glare), or gloss for vivid photos.
- Sunboards can be made to your size. The price is worked out per square foot.
Measuring for a sign
Step 1: Measure the space
Measure the width and height available, in feet or inches.
Step 2: Take a photo
A straight-on photo of the wall or shop front helps us check proportions.
Step 3: Tell us how it’s viewed
Viewing distance decides how big the text should be. A sign read from across the road needs much bigger lettering than one at a desk.
